Data Deletion

How to delete your data from Hourlytick

Hourlytick stores ALL data locally on your device. We have no servers, no cloud storage, and no copies of your data. Deletion is entirely in your hands.

Option 1: Delete All Data Within the App

1. Open Hourlytick
2. Tap the More tab (bottom right)
3. Scroll to Data section
4. Tap Clear All Data
5. Confirm deletion twice when prompted

This permanently deletes all clients, time entries, projects, and settings. This action cannot be undone.

Option 2: Uninstall the App

Simply uninstalling Hourlytick from your device will permanently delete all data associated with the app. Since we store nothing on any server, uninstalling the app is a complete and total deletion of all your data.

What Gets Deleted

When you clear data or uninstall, the following is permanently removed:

  1. All client information (names, rates, notes)
  2. All time entries and timer data
  3. All project information
  4. All app settings and preferences
  5. Encryption keys stored in your device's secure keystore

What We Cannot Delete

Since we never collect or store any of your data on our servers, there is nothing for us to delete on our end. Your data exists only on your device.

If you made a Pro purchase, the transaction record exists with Google Play, not with us. To manage Google Play purchase history, visit your Google Play account.
