Privacy Policy

Effective Date: February 2026 | Last Updated: February 2026

Your privacy is critically important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how Hourlytick handles your information.

1. Our Privacy Commitment

Hourlytick is designed with privacy as a core principle. We believe your time tracking data is personal and should remain entirely under your control. We have adopted a "zero data" approach: we collect nothing, store nothing, and transmit nothing.

2. Data We Do NOT Collect

We want to be absolutely clear about what we DO NOT collect:

We do NOT collect your name, email address, location or GPS data, device identifiers or advertising IDs, IP address, time entries, client information, project data, hourly rates or earnings information, usage analytics or behavioural data, crash reports containing personal data. We do NOT use advertising trackers or ad networks. We do NOT use any third-party analytics services (no Google Analytics, no Firebase Analytics, no Mixpanel, no Amplitude, or any other analytics platform). We do NOT use any social media trackers or pixels. We do NOT engage in any form of user profiling.

3. Data Storage

All data you enter into Hourlytick is stored locally on your device using an encrypted SQLite database. Your data is protected using AES-256-CBC encryption with a unique key stored in your device's secure keystore (Android Keystore). This data never leaves your device. We literally cannot access, view, or retrieve your data.

4. RevenueCat (Payment Processing)

If you purchase Hourlytick Pro, the transaction is processed through Google Play. We use RevenueCat to verify purchase receipts. RevenueCat receives only an anonymous transaction confirmation — no personal data, no usage data, and no time tracking data is shared. RevenueCat's privacy policy is available at revenuecat.com/privacy.

5. Data Sharing

We do not share any data with anyone because we do not have any data to share. There are no third-party integrations, no analytics providers, no advertising networks, and no data brokers involved in the operation of Hourlytick.

6. Your Rights (GDPR / UK GDPR / CCPA)

Because we collect zero personal data, your rights under GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA, and other privacy regulations are satisfied by default. There is no data to access, correct, delete, or port. If you wish to delete all data from the app, go to More → Clear All Data, or simply uninstall the app.

7. Children's Privacy

Hourlytick is not directed at children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
